" I Matter Plenty"

Every day you flip news channels or pages of a newspaper you can hear and read; one and only one thing: Betrayal by few individuals either to the world, their country, society or family.

Why do people like Osama Bin Laden, Sadam Husain, Robert Hanssen and many more like them breed in our peaceful society? What motivates them to do what they have done and harm the sanity of humanity?

Having passion for human psychology and brief background from school, i started looking into profiles and published videos of individuals described above.

The most fascinating and astonishing fact about these people was that they were just like me, my friends, you or our next door neighbors and that scared the hell out of me. I racked my brain a little longer and read more to figure out what is it that makes them different and in-human.

One thing that stood out in their profile was there inner and deep urge to show people that “I Matter Plenty". They have a deep desire to prove everyone that they can rule the world and outsmart everyone around them. In accomplishing so, they reroute their energy and brain cells in doing malevolent activities. Osama and Sadam always thought that they can rule the world. Robert Hanseen became the America's dangerous and perfect spy.

You will always notice that these people discuss with their co-workers, friends and family how they hate certain norm of their system (even if that is not true). Robert Hanssen constantly mentioned how unhappy he was with the security system and so on.

Finally one thing that I also found unique about the profiles was individual’s extreme belief in their religion. Most of us use gods name to gain inner strength and peace BUT these people use gods name to justify their brutal and cold-blooded acts.

"I Matter Plenty" how many of us feel this need so we can satisfy our human ego every single day?

How much is this need...is it so much that it leads us to be one of the above?

As a citizen of this world we need to wake up and realize what are we truly born for and what is more important to us Humanity or Callous

Craze of cell phones!!!

21st century is an era of breathtaking inventions, heart tromping innovation and life changing break-through.
One of them that has affected every readers life is “CELL PHONES”

It is one of the most captivating inventions, which connects people around the globe; every pulse of their life. From teenagers to baby boomers everyone has this "little baby" for chatting, messaging and style.

I personally feel cell-phones was a great invention, its sole purpose was to keep people connected anywhere and everywhere they were. In recent years it has become more of a fashion statement and a gadget that has more applications than tulips in Holland festival. Today the phone one carries ensemble status and defines style statement.

Developing countries have become a huge market share for cell phone investors. Everyday at-least 20,000 people get a new cell phone in India alone. On the flip side market share in the developed countries has more or less become stable and stagnant for cell phone companies.

So to lure these customers companies have started creating multi-purpose phones and sole contract service rights. Companies are creating “Phone that can have the world at your finger tips.” Stylish phones in addition to great looks have FM, Bluetooth, messenger, Video streaming capability, and many more applications.

Latest to join the streak is Apples most awaited "I-Phone." This has created quiet a buzz in the technology world. It’s biggest plus is everything is control by a touch interface, has handset's accelerometer, and proximity sensor. I-Phone looks promising to critics but will be selling for ~$499 or $599. That's a big ouch, particularly at that sky-high price .

If this streak continues phones for next generation will have applications to unlock ones car/house/office, banking, scanning, etc.

Do you think this craziness is worth the prices?

Re-Discover-Mustang Power!!!

I live on top of the world, in the land of frozen lakes, and breathtaking fall; where leaves change its color to fiery red; in the heart of america "Michigan." In my gorgeous land when spring finally comes to save me from a perpetual winter the world comes to life again..

And i remember what it is I'm here for. I'm the only daughter, and i am a true "daddy's girl".
Riding horses has been my passion since early childhood, i love to watch these enormously beautiful species rediscover the world, i can see in them an expression of my own restless spirit. Charged with an appetite for adventure they take to the land without hesitation. They are pure power. when i see them running wild and free i often think of the first horse in the herd and how they were the true pioneers of America.

The history of the west was written by the horse, whereever men left their footprints, hoofprints were beside it. When settlers came to west they could not tame the wildness of the mustang and called them parasites, they couldnt domesticate them so they destroyed them.

Sometimes when a light disappears afterimage remains just for a moment, and horses are the afterimage of West. Lucky for us few mustang have survived we need to protect them, they are the few promises that are surviving for America...

There is a force in this world that lives beneath the surface something that is primitive and wild that awakens when you need an extra push just to survive like wild flowers that bloom after the fire turns the forest black. Most people are afraid of it and keep it buried deep inside themselves. But there will be always few people that will have the courage to love what is untamed inside us. one of those men is my "FATHER".

Everyone is searching for something, they are restless and unsettled all they are looking to feel how i feel when i am in my father's arm and riding my horse "FREE"

Thats the passion i have for my father and horses, and to continue i stay close to them as heart beat to the heart re-discover ME!!!

WHAT REDISCOVERS YOU!!!

Home prices-Mystery unresolved!!!!

Over past few months i have been quiet interested in real estate business. A old friend of mine is probing me almost every day to be part of this very lucrative business. The “green dollars” are a big tempt and nice entrepreneurial business.
In order to see if this could further catch my eye i dived into the net to find few facts and articles to satisfy my curious brain cells. In this process i came across an article on Cnnmoney "Home prices: More pain to come"

It was shocking to read that home prices are dropping down at a speed of an arrow. The article stated that National Association of realtors quoted that in may 2007 home sales and price were below projection and if the prices fall further as predicted, it would be a record setter in nearly 40 years...

wowoow man that is scary to hear, it will take more than a year for the housing market to get out of this blow.

The way I look at this is the regular mountain and valley patterns in any lucrative business.

Is this just another bubble, should people buy house or invest in this business now for future gains, where is this trend going

Working from Home or Office!!Pick your side

This topic has been more popular than 'Friends' in recent years. Many people on one side of the coin say that: just by working from home they can get away from yucky mornings, sick people at work, be more productive (constant disturbance at work), and take recreational breaks (singing loud, dancing, stretching, lying on the bed).

While the other side of the coin states that one needs to have face-time with higher ups, other colleagues, and build meaningful personal professional relationships.

That said, I personally prefer a mix of both the sides, as it has great benefits, once every two week I would like to stay home and work, be productive get the regular report and time-consuming task completed with focus (no constant disturbance) and other days be in the office, get daily chores completed and build professional network

According to a recent WorldatWork survey, the number of “teleworkers” - the 21st century version of telecommuters - grew to 28.7 million in 2006, including the self-employed. That means about 20% of the workforce works remotely at least once a month (fact picked from one of the gig on fortune).

Can you “telework,” and if you do, are you more productive at home or at work? Is this a generational thing? Or is it just the truth about the office?

Can Global Warming Be stopped !!!! Entrepreneur Opportunity

During my evening read, i came across a very interesting article that i wanted to share with my Blog readers "Should China get carbon credits for its one-child policy"--fortune

China is proposing a plan in G8 stating that they will curb carbon emission by 20% between 2005 and 2010, and promise to boost its use of renewable energy.

We all know that Global warming has become a major problem today; and slowly and steady it will creep up a snake and engulf us all. Living in michigan i have felt the pain "the bad weather" (one of the direct effect of global warming) i can't even enjoy the summer as we still have stormy cold rains in June. Last December i had to celebrate christmas without snow on my porch. These are few of the signs that indicates the snake is even coming closer to us...

In effort to conserve energy i generally shut down my main switch board before i leave, and try to car pool as much as i can (either ways the gas prices are so high one could walk instead)

This is what i will do as a world citizen, NOW being an entrepreneur i try to find opportunity even in dust. And apparantly this is one of the biggest market opportunity to grow in near future.
Recently in one of the CNN articles that i read an individual in Japan created in-house electricity using multiple plastic gears and wind, so he could avoid screaming high energy bills.
Other individual in that article used kinetic energy produced by members in his gym using the treadmill and stored it in form of batteries and the used these batteried to light his gym.

One project that i have been working on with my team in India is to use cowdunk (readily available in zillions!!! in India) and the decaying process to creare electricity from it..its still in the trial and error and i hope eventually i will be able to succeed..

So what do you think as individual/entrepreneurs we can do to stop global warming!!!!
STOP GLOBAL WARMING!!!!

Think hard and act on it

Continue....How successful leaders think (complexity and simplicity)

The article even gets interesting, it defines two common type of human trait in two simple words "Simplicity and Complexity" Most of us choose the route to be simple and shun our selves away from complexity and ambiguity.

We crave certainty of choosing between well-defined alternatives and the closure that comes when a decision had been made.

I can so much relate to above thinking, I prefer choosing branded products, popular titles, facts and things, as its easy to believe that yeah this will be good, and have not much challenged myself to choose an alternative that is not well define!!!

like for me SPURS is my favorite basketball team, because they are popular they play great stated by the wide media and famous grapevine. They become easy alternative to be fan of.

Can you all relate to this!!! Share your thoughts on the blog

lets get out of our comfort zone take advantage of our opposable minds, by resisting our natural leaning towards simplicity and certanity!!!!

Challenge your brain cells and think complex - principle of opposable mind!!!

How successful Leaders think-chemical analysis of the brain

I recently read an article in HBR on "how successful leaders think", it was really fascinating to read, and i was quiet enlighten, so i wanted to share it with my blog readers. The article stated that "the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function" is a sign of truly intelligent individuals and integrative thinking tremendously improves people's odd to clear them. The article talked about Bob Youngs "free-software model" and his philosophy on it. It seemed to be really interesting how Mr. Young came to this decision as at that time he had two opposing ideas 'high-margin proprietary model" which was a trend and most of the big software giants were adapting. Mr. Youngs approach showed that he seemingly included some twist on both the models to make it unique to satisfy his company goals. He made it "the free-software model, low product"Multiple examples in this article boils down to one common trait between all the leaders, the opposable mind. This is a unique feature to a human that gives them the ability to take the best from two opposing ideas, situation and solutions.

More to come on this article......and my new section "STORIES ON LEADERS"
